ISSER has been selected as a facilitator of an ongoing evaluation of a United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO) Investment Monitoring Platform in Ghana. ISSER was chosen following UNIDOs recognition of ISSER’s role and contribution to an earlier research which led to the implementation of a UNIDO web based Investment Monitoring Platform (IMP).

Information from the Investment Monitoring Platform is currently being used to formulate evidence based policies, develop investment promotion strategies, evaluate the effectiveness of investment promotion and facilitate business decisions and business linkages among relevant stakeholder institutions.

The objective of the evaluation programme is to assess how useful and effective the Investment Monitoring Platform is and revise aspects of it, if necessary.

ISSER continues to be committed to collaborating with UNIDO and other stakeholders to conduct policy directed research for the development of Ghana and Africa.
